NEW OFFICE
We spent nearly the entire year remodeling our 1969 ranch home. My office was just inside the front door - and took up first just one room, then two and then we were bursting.  This summer we added space and were able to convert the existing garage into a new office space.  The before and after photos are below.

PAYROLL TAX CUT EXTENDED THROUGH 2012

Good news!  The bill that would extend the social security 2% tax cut through the remainder of 2012 has landed on the President’s desk and he is expected to sign it sometime this week.  The tax cut was set to expire on February 29, but (barring any extreme circumstance) we will all enjoy having just 4.2% withheld for social security instead of the full 6.2%.
